YourKITE media and entrepreneurship project continues in Poland. Last week another meeting in the frame of the project was held by FRSI – Fundacja Rozwoju Społeczeństwa Informacyjnego – together with Fundacja Rozwoju Wolontariatu/Volunteering Development Foundation for the other project partners – Fundatia Danis pentru Dezvoltare Manageriala (Romania) and Norsensus Mediaforum (Norway) in Warsaw.
In the course of one week, November, 29 – December, 3, there were organised several trainings and workshops with the focus on engagement of volunteers, entrepreneurship for youth and career counselling. Also the participants visited University of Warsaw Library to have a round table on youth entrepreneurship in Poland and the organisation for social entrepreneurship in Warsaw where they had a lecture on the challenges and benefits of social cooperatives driven by young people.
Your Kite Project aims to develop digital media and communication skills of young people, and promote volunteering and professional orientation in order to ease the youth’s access to the labor market. At the same time, the project promotes entrepreneurship within youth as a way out of unemployment, by developing entrepreneurship knowledge and skills of young people.
