Anti-discrimination social initiatives

Anti-discrimination social initiatives in the «Polish-Ukrainian sisterhood» project – it’s time to start!

As part of the «Polish-Ukrainian sisterhood» project, educators who take part in the workshops prepare their own initiatives for local communities on the topic of anti-discrimination. Last Saturday, anti-discrimination workshops were held for women and girls from Ukraine, prepared by 4 educators who take part in the project. The workshops presented, among others: the topic of misogyny and discrimination in folklore.

Thanks to the initiative, workshop participants were able to increase their knowledge and competence in the field of discrimination mechanisms due to cultural differences, and learned how to solve crisis situations in a practical way, build dialogue based on democratic values, and also gained knowledge on how to support the most vulnerable groups.

More initiatives coming soon!
