The next VISUALIZE IT workshop was held in another room of Oslo Public Library and was very cozy. That day youngsters learned how to draw and sketch.
Dovile Puzinaite, graphic designer from London, showed the young how easy it is to start drawing. Although it requires a lot of patience and focus. Firstly, everybody tried to draw a simple lamp, but in then proceeded with more advanced objects. Some even managed to draw a celebrity or a friend.
The main thing that youngsters learned at this workshop was not to be afraid that something might go wrong in one’s drawing. Even the most famous painters use sketches that sometimes look rather primitive and messy.
Someone pointed out that the drawing process is somewhat similar to meditation. You become calmer and more focused on your thoughts.
