Ghosts of the library. This is how the teenagers learned to make films

Next step in VISUALIZE IT was video filming and editing.

On Thursday Babatunde Oluwalana, film student from Westerdals Oslo ACT, came to teach the students how to use camera to make films. On Friday participants were supposed to edit what they had filmed.

Baba began with his school projects. The youngsters liked best a short horror film where a sofa sucked a man inside.

Afterwards the participants were divided into several groups of 3 and 4 and got the script to base their films on. It was a scary story about a ghost in the library. Firstly, the participants decided on the roles of director, cameraman and 2 actors. After that the «action» began.

It took almost 2 hours to fulfill all the thoughts and ideas and, of course, to argue a bit with directors and cameramen. At the end of the workshop everyone was quite happy with the results and looked forward to editing.
