GRIFFEL project is Norway’s leading social entrepreneurship and active citizenship programme for students between 14-18 years old. Its main goal is to train and stimulate young social innovators to showcase their projects which are youth-led, team-based, and action-focused.
This programme inspires and empowers young people of Norway to make a difference in their communities with the ability to put their skills and ideas into action by offering them training on ICT, media, marketing, managing a budget, working with volunteers and project management.
Young people come up with and develop ideas to change society for good. They work in a team, decide what they want to do and how they can respond in new ways to issues of importance to them. Griffel has a well tested social innovation education framework which is in brief: CARE, CO-OPERATE, CHANGE AND COMMUNICATE! This is an effective way to work on any social innovation. GRIFFEL is a foremost platform where vibrant youth with pragmatic, innovative and market-oriented approaches will be effectively promoted.
