Stereotypes were the main topic of the 3rd anti-discrimination social initiative.
How do stereotypes arise and what impact do they have on our lives? We may not ask ourselves such questions every day, but stereotypes have a significant impact on our perception of our surroundings.
Do you know what stereotypes, prejudices and superstitions are? How do they arise and how do they influence your life? What stereotypes are typical of your environment and society? Have you ever wondered what stereotypes you live by in life? We answered such questions together during anti-discrimination workshops organized by educators participating in the Polish-Ukrainian sisterhood project.
During our training, in the form of interesting exercises and games, we analyzed concepts such as stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination, hatred in social networks. We tried to understand stereotypes, look for our own ways to get rid of our own prejudices, learn to respond safely to these phenomena and show understanding and empathy.
