About the project
The Nordic SDGs Youth Media Allies workshop is part of the SDGs Youth Media Allies project , run by Norsensus Mediaforum (Norway) together with its partners: City of Helsinki, Youth Division (Finland) and Awesome People (Sweden).
We would like to remind you one important aspect of this workshop: You are the protagonist of this event and will be creative. So to say, you will be actively shaping the content and sharing your and/or your organization’s knowledge and experience all the time. This sharing and creation is a natural part of the workshop sessions.
Participants from outside Oslo will stay in twin shared rooms at Anker Hotel, Storgata 55, 0182 Oslo. We cover accommodation of the participants between February 6th to 9th (3 nights) in Oslo Anker Hotel. Breakfast will be served every morning at the hotel. Lunch and Dinner will be served for all participants in different locations. If participants plan to arrive a few days earlier or depart a few days later they are kindly requested to arrange their accommodation individually.
Hotel check in/out time: 12:00. If you come earlier than 12.00 on 6th of February, you can leave your luggage in the luggage room at the hotel for free or even try to check in. The hotel is relatively close to Oslo Central station. You can walk from the central station to the hotel in 13 minutes. Please be aware that there is Anker Hostel and Anker Hotel next to each other. You will go to Anker Hotel.
The participants who are traveling from outside Oslo will get reimbursement of some travel costs upon presentation of all tickets / boarding pass, receipt/invoices. In order to comply with environmental standards, we kindly ask all participants to take the most environmentally friendly and cost effective alternative available (i.e. public transport instead of taxis or private cars).
