Story Seekers Workshop: 6-8 June 2017, Oslo

Join us for a three-day workshop in Oslo on the topic of storytelling and media communication strategies with a special focus on inclusion and immigration.

We invite storytellers, activists, NGO workers, changemakers, journalists, and bloggers with diverse backgrounds from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland to apply.

Story-seekers project aims to increase advocacy capacity of NGOs and grassroot organizations working with migrants or asylum seekers in the Nordic countries, by strengthening the cooperation between civil society and media (journalists social media content creators and bloggers), as well as to increase awareness about the issue of immigration and anti-discrimination in media.

Story Seekers project covers the workshop costs, including training fee, accommodation for up to three nights (for participants out pf Oslo), and lunches and coffee breaks. However, the transport to the workshop venue should be covered by the participants. In the limits of the budget, Story seekers project provides several transport stipends. So, please let us know if you will need support. There is a limited number of travel stipends.
